Moon has had a tough last few years of his life. He lived outside and while people in the community fed him it wasn’t enough. During a sleet storm I got a call that Moon was meowing at a friend’s door. I rushed over and it was then that we opened the door . . . And hesitantly Moon came inside; all on his own. It was like he was asking for help. When I brought him to the vet he was diagnosed with skin and upper respiratory infections, a heart murmur, FIV and a fractured tooth (possibly from impact with a car). My heart broke for him in the moment but since then Moon has gotten so much better!

Moon is funny, a true character. He will grumble at you when you call his name, he loves to lay in the sunlight, he is a big fan of sinks and will sit in them. He is a lower energy cat who is happiest roaming around the house, eating his meals, getting pets, and hanging out with his people. Moon just wants a warm, safe, comfortable home where he is loved and he more than deserves it. He is one incredible little guy! Moon is up to date on vaccines and neutered. He does not like other cats, but gets along with mellow, respectful, cat friendly dogs. He would like a home without children.
